It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Well not really. We have put the Christmas decorations up and certainly we have almost finished all our Christmas shopping, but there is one thing missing here in the wonderful state of Colorado.

Its this wonderful thing that should cover up the brown ugly dirt that was once a nice shade of green. Oh who am I kidding, it was the worst year for rain, so it has been brown for sometime, but back to what we are missing. Can you guess what it could be?

That's correct SNOW

So as we wait for the wonderful white flakes to begin falling, we are enjoying the wonderful sunny weather and warm days like today. It was a high of 69 on December 3rd and it was wonderful. I wore Capri pants and flip flops today, but tomorrow will be a high of somewhere in the 30s, but no snow.

Anyway since my post has nothing really to do with the Harms Family Adventures and no real pictures. I will just give a quick update with the simple items.

Thanksgiving came and went and of course it is always nice to have friends and family over to give Thanks. My mother in law left back to Vermont today after being with us for 2 months. While she was here she looked at a number of retirement homes and is still on the fence about possibility moving our here to Colorado. Who can beat the weather. We have a pretty good secret here and that is that we get over 300 days of sunshine a year, no humidity just really dry. So she loved those nice things about our state.

Oh we do have one update. We have put Kai in ice skating lessons. He is now showing interest in playing Hockey so here are some pictures from his practices. Other than that, I will try and get some more pictures taken so. I did get a new lens and really need to get on learning on the gadgets of my phone to take better shots.

So stay tuned and should have more to come.
