Well this picture pretty much says how it went. She hates for people and especially strangers to touch her or invade her personal space so the Doctor was greated with a happy child, can you hear the sarcism? Just look at the picture again and that is what the Doctor was greeted with, note this picture was taken days ago, but none the less this is what the Doctor saw. Then came the shot, but the good news is she is doing great.
She is 30 inches now and weighs 20.5 lbs. They don't give us percentiles at this place because they feel that as long as they continue to show a steady growth and weight gain they are growing at their own individual pace, which I love. The shot she had was the chicken pox vaccine, and of course did not like it. We chose to delay the MMR till after she is 2 so she only got the one shot. She is now peferctly content watching Elmo's World telling the woffers "NO" on TV.
Oh not sure if I mentioned how she was always waking up in the morning screaming with gas pains and it was quite frustrating. Well I think her digestive system has finally caught up to the rest of her. She has been waking up screaming and she now sleeps uninterrupted. It is wonderful. Oh the other thing was Pizza, she loves it but she would get really bad gas. To the point where she was just inconsolable. Well I dreaded giving her pizza last night, but she really wanted it and she was fine. No more problem there. WHEW! Anyway all is well here and we are just looking forward to Christmas.
