Family Time in Orlando

It has been a week since our last night was spent together with some of our Vermont family. We had a wonderful vacation with them reconnecting and relaxing.

We had initially planned this trip to see the last Endeavour shuttle launch and once we had booked our tickets and the house we knew it would be a great opportunity to have them all meet us there. We were missing Sarah's husband Jeff and their 4 year old son, but it was great to see Sarah and their oldest, our nephew Colin. I can't say it enough how great it was to reconnect with them all, the last time they saw Pea she was 9 months old and for most it was only the 2nd time seeing her. My father in law had came out to visit us when Pea was around 6 weeks so this was his 3rd meeting but certainly the most fun.

For the 1st few days it was just the 6 of us hanging out by the pool and even attempted a trip to Universal Studios. We could not believe the amount of people here. The lines and waits were so insane, we were there about 6 hours before we were all ready to leave. In fact the picture above shows how typical it was...Pea refusing to look at the camera, Kai giving Universal a thumbs down and Jason a thumbs up because we were leaving.

Hanging with Grandpo & getting to know each other all over again.

Our little man loving the water as usual.

Pea is loving the water too. It was nice and warm the whole time we were there.

Father and son enjoying some fun in the sun and water.

Sexy Jason...I just love him so!

We love to play the dice game of 10,000 when we are with them. A fun night of 10,000was a must.

The other father and son enjoying some time together.

Grandpo and Kai went on this ride together. If you click on the picture you should be able to zoom in, its pretty funny to see the kids face behind Kai. He looks terrified.

That ride soaked them.

Me and my beautiful Pea.

Check out the oldie. I am talking about the car.

Who doesn't love Lucy?

Tuesday came and my sister in law Sarah and our nephew arrived. We spent so much time pool side, relaxing and again reconnecting. We went on a couple of 3 mile walks in the morning and even attempted Disney World. Yea that was another big thumbs down. Again so many people and the lines and wait were too much. We were back at the house pool side by 5:00 that night.

Cousin Colin has arrived.

Here's Brucie!

She loves Tangled. So she was pretty excited to stay here, every once in a while Rapunzel would start singing the song on the movie. Oh she knows this movie by heart.

We ventured out once more when we went to a dinner and jousting show, the wonderful Medieval Times. We can never get enough of this place, always good food and fun to be had.

Pea waiting for the show to start.

Me and my little man. He is so handsome.

Grandpo is pretty excited by the fighting.

Our last day we all hung out by the pool, playing, talking, eating and just spending as much time as we could. Here are some of the final pictures from the day and some of my favorite.

It was just another one of the best vacations where it is just relaxing with one another. To me those are really the best.

This is the final picture taken right before we left to the airport. We are happy that we were able to have this visit with them and we miss them all. It had been 3 years since our last visit and just hope it won't be that long again. We hope to see them all again soon.
