Championship game!

Wow what a weekend. The Storm won the 1st 3 games of the tournament, so today they played at 9:30, the Bandits. If we lost that game we would play at 2:30 but if they won they would automatically play in the Championship game at 6:30. Well they lost that 9:30 game by 1 point. It was a great game too, they were down by 4 in the 1st half and in the second half scored 3 points. If they had 3 more minutes they could have tied it. Anyway 2:30 comes around and if they lose that's it they are done, but if they win they still go on to play in the Championship game at 6:30 meaning 3 games today. They won the 2:30 game 8 to 0! It was AWESOME! In between all this we had to run to the rental property to finish up what we could (that is for another post) and the end of the season BBQ and awards cermony for the team, which started at 2:00. Due to the game, most everyone got there about 4:00 and we were able to eat and get all that done in time to be back at the field by 6:00. Game started and guess who we were playing...THE BANDITS!!! The team we lost to at 9:30 that morning. The boys showed great effort and went out fighting hard. The score was 2 to 4. The boys were so upset, and all of us parents had to really try and explain how great they were and how well they played to get where they were. But we all know that didn't help too much. Anyway it was such a tiring weekend but an amazing one. Here are some pictures from today.

She didn't mean to go down head first and was scared as she was coming down, but then laughed when she got down. You can almost see the little bit of fear mixed with this is fun...on her face.

This was where they gave him his nickname "Mr. Jekel and Mr. Hyde" because he has the calmest demener but when he gets mad he plays his best games. He went and told the coaches one day that he was so mad at his dad and went on to play his best game yet.
