Field Day Fun

Kai had his last field day as a kid. Sniff sniff. He is moving on to 6th grade and we all remember how field day ends here. He will be turning 11 on Tuesday the 8th and the his last day of school is on the 9th for a half day. Summer break is almost here for him so a little fun before the end of one class room, all year long, was just what they needed.



Maybe we should have put Kai in soccer. Funny all the girls duck and cover.

Long jump...Kai won 2nd place in the long jump. He has his silver medal to prove it.

Here is his team for the relay race. Also little girl in red is Sarah aka Orange Dolphin. Kai's "friend". Don't call her Orange Dolphin though he gets mad.



By the way the reason for the Orange Dolphin name was because I happened to find a letter from her in Kai's pocket, you know mom's doing laundry and such, and we read the letter. She signed it Orange Dolphin after telling him to meet her and Ally in the barn. It was too cute, but oh man...here comes that stage.
